How we can help
Increasing Independence:
We can work together to establish what daily activities are meaningful to you and identify what is stopping you from performing these activities in the way that you would like.
We used a mixture of restorative and compensatory approaches to help you overcome any difficulties.
We will work with you to set realistic short-term and long-term goals and ensure that your goals are reviewed regularly.
Here are a few examples of the areas of daily living activities that we can work on together:
Getting washed and dressed
Medication management
Transferring safely in and out of bed, on and off your armchair or toilet
Feeding
Accessing public transport
Shopping
Hobbies and interests
Work-related roles
This list is not exhaustive and is intended to give you a flavour of what we can offer.
If the activity that you want to gain your independence in is not listed here, then please contact us and we can discuss how we can help you.
